October 11 - Wolfskill Ranch Centennial Olive Harvest Celebration

A CENTENNIAL OLIVE HARVEST CELEBRATION at the HISTORIC WOLFSKILL RANCH

Presented by the UC Davis Olive Center, Yolo County Agricultural Marketing Initiative and Slow Food Yolo.

Saturday October 11. 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM.

The event is the UC Davis Olive Center’s showcase for the UC Davis’ Centennial weekend activities. Yolo and Solano County olive oil producers will sample product after a tour of the ranch. A four-course lunch is served under the 150 year old olive trees at this historic ranch. The event will also raise funds for the Winters Joint Unified School District school lunch program – for the purchase of local produce. TICKETS: $90 Slow Food Members/$100 General Public.

Grape Escape Wine & Dine Weeks

Join us on Saturday June 14, 2008 in downtown Sacramento (Cesar Chavez Plaza) from 4pm - 7pm. The 6th annual Grape Escape is an event that will feature wine tastings, food pairings and chefs cooking demonstrations. We will be featuring both varietals of our extra virgin olive oil and showcasing a creative sauce to use with your summer grilling.
