Our vinegar maker is among a select few continuing to hand craft vinegar using the centuries old French method ~ the Orleans method; fermenting wine slowly in oak barrels to create a truly unique rounded flavor with subtle woody tones.
This vinegar is produced from several white wine varietals from California’s wine region. The flavor is complex and fruity with notes of vanilla and apricot with the slight smokiness of sweet pipe tobacco. Use as a vinaigrette in your favorite salads, add a splash to soups and stews for a complex flavor.
